Smile with Lucy AW 22-23

It is with great excitement that we present to you our 

Autumn-Winter 2022-2023 collection, inspired by American Queen of Comedy and award-winning actress, Lucille Ball! 

Studio head, comedienne, fashion pioneer and television 

powerhouse, she was born on August 6 of 1911 in Jamestown, 

New York. 

The five-time Emmy Award winning star worked as an actress through her entire life: But it was with the “I Love Lucy“ show, one of the greatest and most influential sitcoms in history, that she was able to show off her talents for physical comedy. 

She co-starred the show together with her husband Desi Arnaz.  

The show ran from 1951 to 1957 produced by Desilu Productions, the couple’s company. 

When they divorced, she bought him out, becoming the first woman to run a major television studio. 

Lucille had a rare talent: She was able to make her audience laugh at her jokes, stunts and tricks, while remaining feminine and beautiful. 

She brought happiness to the world even when going through hard 

times. This makes us reflect about the importance of laughter through a difficult situation, to carry on with the show and move on. 

Her charisma on screen, wittiness and loving personality will live on 

forever. She was one of the biggest stars of her time!
